An Alhaurín de la Torre woman has won a paternity suit after a private investigator collected a cigarette butt that her now legally-declared father had discarded in a public place, and a DNA analysis gave a positive result. Based on that DNA test and testimonial evidence, the judge ordered an official DNA analysis, which was also positive. The man had had a relationship with the woman’s mother in the 1970s.
