A 40-year-old man died while paragliding in Almuñécar on Monday afternoon. A member of the public reported finding an unconscious man lying next to a paraglider in the Taramay district, but when the emergency services arrived they were unable to revive him. The Guardia Civil opened an investigation to identify the victim, believed to be Polish, and discover the circumstances of his death.
