A Guardia Civil officer was injured when he was struck by a small lorry as he attended a stationary vehicle on the A-92 near Albolote on Friday. The 40-year-old was treated for bruising and required surgery on his foot which was fractured when the van ran over it. The officer had stopped to find out if the stationary vehicle’s driver required assistance.
