After more complaints than ever were received about noise from last week’s Fallas celebrations in Valencia, a local councillor wants to define a quiet period each night. Anaïs Menguzzato says the sound of fireworks exploding continued 24 hours a day during this year’s annual festival, generating problems for residents trying to sleep. She is calling for a pause of between four and six hours overnight.
