Lawyer Juan German Hoffmann, who fled after being sentenced to five years in prison in the Malaya corruption case, has been located in Germany but authorities have rejected his extradition to Spain, according to Spanish news agency EFE. Spanish prosecutors have requested that his sentence be carried out in Germany. Hoffman is the son of the late Juan Hoffman, a former German consul in Málaga.
