A litigation court in Málaga has rejected a compensation claim of €10.8 million from the owner of the old Astoria and Victoria cinemas in plaza de la Merced which the city bought five years ago. Instead, it has awarded him costs of €246,662. He had claimed the compensation in relation to leases, advice and mediation when the buildings were sold.
