The regional government has awarded the construction contract for a new infant and primary school in Cártama Station. Edificaciones Castelló S.A. will undertake the €2.56 million project over 12 months. The two-storey building, with 17 classrooms, library, gym and dining room, will house 450 students, enabling ten classrooms in pre-fabricated buildings in the town to be retired.
