Málaga’s walking fans have a new reason to visit the province’s Gran Senda trail, a 650-kilometre circular route around the province, as it passes through Jimera de Libar, after Málaga’s provincial government constructed a new bird observatory, offering spectacular views over the Valle del Guadiaro and information about local birds including the griffon vulture. The new €31,000 addition is located at the end of stage 25 of the Gran Senda, and the start of stage 26.
