Officials last week visited the newly installed wooden footbridge across the Manilva river, linking Casares and Sabinillas. The new 60-metre span means walkers and cyclists can now travel a total of three kilometres, from Puerto de la Duquesa to Arroyo La Parrilla. It forms part of the wider Senda Litoral project to connect Málaga’s entire coastline, from Manilva to Nerja.
