A 5.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the northern coast of Morocco at 5.40am on Tuesday. It followed two earlier tremors in the same area early last Friday of magnitudes 4.8 and 4.1 and with epicentres 10 kilometres below the sea off the coast of Al-Houcemas, 100 km west of Melilla. All three were felt in parts of southern Andalucía.
