Marbella town hall has issued a warning to beachgoers to avoid the informal massage services offered on local beaches, which it says are performed by non-professionals, with the risk of health and hygiene issues, or even physical damage due to improper technique. Officials noted that there are 35 official massage stands distributed along the town’s beaches, all of them offering services by trained professionals.
