Guardia Civil officers in Mijas have arrested two people in relation to a string of ten robberies at businesses in the Mijas Pueblo area in recent months. The masked thieves, of Spanish nationality, were detained after officers caught them in the act on November 12. The pair are believed to have stolen a total of €25,000 and caused €5,000 in damage – although much of what was taken has been recovered.
