Leukaemia patient Pablo Ráez, 20, who has sparked a sharp increase of bone marrow donors in Málaga province after an open letter he posted on Facebook went viral, added yet more people to the donor roles last week. A drive he hosted at Marbella’s Hospital Quirón saw over 250 people turn out to sign up as donors – more than double the nationwide daily average of 120.
