Marbella council last week approved a plan to decentralise the town hall’s work by giving greater autonomy and departmental responsibilities to the town’s five districts: San Pedro Alcántara, Nueva Andalucía, Marbella East, Marbella West and Las Chapas. Officials say the gradual implementation of the measure will bring the town hall closer to residents and improve services.
