An elderly man with Alzheimer’s who went missing from his home in Arroyo de la Miel early on Wednesday, November 15, was found almost a day later – by National police in Rincon de la Victoria, around 40 kilometres away. According to a police statement, the 72-year-old spoke to officers on the phone and gave them nearby points of reference, allowing them to locate him, and he has since been reunited with his family.
