A 50-year-old Peruvian man, wanted on suspected document forgery charges in his homeland, had been arrested under an international detention order in Benalmádena. According to a national police statement released earlier this week, the man is thought to have tried to exchange 113 Peruvian driving licenses for Spanish counterparts, under an agreement between the two countries, but the documents turned out to be falsified.
