A 35-year-old Brazilian man was arrested last week after allegedly threatening his partner with a knife in their home in San Pedro Alcántara. The woman, a 36-year-old Ecuadorian, told officers he had held a knife to her throat, stabbed the sofa they were sitting on and threw her against a mirror. Police found and arrested the man in a nearby bar.
