Three Romanian nationals have been detained by National Police in Málaga on suspicion of stealing jewellery from elderly victims. Investigators say they are linked to two thefts in Málaga and one in Alicante, and may be connected to others elsewhere in Spain. They typically stopped their victims apparently asking directions but then assaulted them and snatched whatever jewellery they were wearing.
