Work has started on the first phase of expanding the surgical capacity of the Hospital Comarcal in Vélez-Málaga. The €200,000 project includes the addition of a fifth operating theatre and doubling of the number of beds for post-operative patients. The second phase of expansion will be undertaken next year.
