Mijas town hall says it has identified an “ideal” site for the planned but long-stalled public hospital to serve Mijas and Fuengirola. The 150,000-square-metre site, located along Avenida de Andalucía in Las Lagunas, must be obtained by the town hall and reclassified before being handed over to the Junta de Andalucía, which could take around a year, said the town hall.
