A €1.8 million, five-month project to build a new approach road to the Hospital Comarcal in Vélez-Málaga has been licenced by the town hall. The road will run for 800 metres from avenida Juan Carlos I to the roundabout on the tranvía line. The object is to reduce congestion on avenida del Sol and the El Tomillar urbanisation.
