A young man has been detained in Vélez-Málaga suspected of making a hoax call to the police. The 112 emergency service received a report last month advising that a car had left the A-7 autovía near Vélez and overturned, trapping its occupants inside. However, several patrol cars despatched to the scene found no sign of an accident and a search began for the caller.
