“Hate Crime”

The Arco Federation in Málaga has denounced the ultra-catholic group “Hazte Oir” (Speak Up) after leaflets containing homophobic content were found in schools in the province. The paper, which has appeared elsewhere in Spain, argues that the rights awards to LGBTI people relegate heterosexuals to “second class citizens.” The Federation’s Andalucían group has described the text as a “hate crime.”
