A man threatening passersby with what turned out to be a fake assault rifle caused a few minutes of panic on the Marbella Paseo Marítimo last week, with a number of scared tourists running into a nearby hotel to seek refuge. Local police responded to the incident at around 10am on Tuesday and arrested the man, a 22-year-old Romanian, who struggled with the officers and assaulted one of them.
