The first gourmet market in the province is to open in Torremolinos at a cost of €600,000, shared between the town and the provincial government. Mayor José Ortiz said the initiative, to be based in plaza de la Independencia, will be a great opportunity to promote produce from Málaga. The market, known as “Mercado Sol Sabor a Málaga,” will create 22 direct jobs.
