Fuengirola’s chiringuitos have donated part of their takings from June’s San Juan festivities to the town’s municipal food bank. At a press conference last week, Alberto Sántos, representing Fuengirola’s beach businesses association, handed over a cheque for €2,700 to councillor Francisco José Martín, who said that the gesture showed that Fuengirola is a “united city”.
