The Diputación is to invest €600,000 in the creation of a permanent gastro-market selling local produce in San Pedro de Alcántara. The Sabor a Málaga market will be the province’s second, after the first opened in Coín in June 2015, and will allow farmers and local producers to sell directly to the public. Provincial government president Elias Bendodo announced the market as he visited the Sabor a Málaga food fair in San Pedro.
