Benalmádena’s gardeners went on indefinite strike last week, as they accused the company contracted by the town hall for the service, FCC, of “continuing abuses and injustices”. In total more than 60 employees, responsible for cleaning and maintaining the town’s parks and gardens, are striking, with their grievances including the movement of workers to areas including Málaga and Cádiz.
