An agreement allowing Benalmádena residents on the local ‘padrón’ census to enjoy a free journey on the town’s cable-car on the last Saturday of each month has been renewed through to next August, following a meeting between the town hall and operators Parques Reunidos last week. Public holidays that fall on Saturdays are not included and the attraction is closed in January. Residents must display their padrón certificate, NIE, driving licence or ‘libro de familia’ at the ticket office.
