Carmen Franco, Duquesa de Franco, the only child of former Spanish dictator General Francisco Franco, died last Friday, aged 91, at her Madrid home, surrounded by family members. She had been diagnosed with cancer last summer and chose not to undergo treatment. She is survived by seven children and numerous grandchildren.
