Police in Salobreña are investigating the theft of 1,500 kilos of food from the town’s food bank. The municipal warehouse where the goods are stored was badly damaged by the thieves, who destroyed part of the roof as well as locks and cold storage units. Food from the bank is distributed to needy families on a daily basis.
