A doctor from Vélez-Málaga hospital was on hand to treat an 85-year-old Canadian man on a flight out of Málaga last Friday after he suffered a stroke. Both were passengers on the 6.55am flight to Paris which was diverted to Madrid’s Barajas airport when the emergency arose. The patient was taken to hospital while the delayed flight later continued to France.
