Flights Threatened

Iberia is considering suspending flights to Venezuela which owes the airline €184 million. Chief executive of parent group IAG, Willie Walsh, says they do not want to stop the service but they cannot fly to destinations which make them no money. Germany’s Lufthansa and Latin American carrier Latam have already cancelled all flights to Venezuela because they cannot convert their local earnings into US dollars.
