A court has authorised the exhumation of two brothers from Zaragoza, whose remains lie in Valley of The Fallen memorial near Madrid. The men’s family want to give them a “dignified burial.” It is the first time that permission has been granted for an exhumation at the memorial, conceived by Franco, which holds the remains of 40,000 people who died during Spain’s Civil War.
