Eight homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure during a wildfire last Thursday that scorched 21 hectares in the Albarracín area of San Roque. The blaze started shortly before 5pm and firefighters had it stabilised by 8.15pm, with residents allowed back to their homes a short time later, though the fire was not declared fully controlled until 7.30am Friday.
