The five remaining workers at the long-closed CIOMijas tourism and hotel training school, who are owed 36 monthly salary payments due to delays in the liquidation process of the public facility, finally received a current pay cheque last week for the month of August. However, they are still awaiting payment of their back salaries, which they say the Junta de Andalucía has promised to pay during the autumn.
