Mijas has been forced to cancel this weekend’s annual Noche en Vela. The town hall said a third party had registered the name, “presumably with bad intentions,” and threatened legal action if the planned events went ahead. To aid the local Business Association which arranges the event, the town hall says it has already started work on an alternative.
