Mijas’s local council announced plans last week to renovate the town’s Las Lagunas fairground in time for the this year’s Feria de Las Lagunas, which will take place from June 22 to June 26. Streets in the area are to be repaved and a permanent transformer is to be installed to guarantee an electricity supply. Work on cleaning the site and preparing for the construction has already started.
