The Marbella local police’s security campaign during the San Bernabé fair from June 6 to 12 saw 1,149 people or vehicles checked by officers, resulting in the detention of three people with warrants out for their arrest and the identification of 15 others for whom authorities were seeking their current whereabouts. Multiple traffic tickets were issued, and 23 drug tests resulted in 17 positives and 272 alcohol tests in 16 positives.
