Striking driving test examiners have demanded that Tráfico should respond to their demands. Some 123,000 tests have been postponed or cancelled since the examiners stopped working on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in June, while new applicants will now not get a test date until 2018. Examiners are calling for a “modest” wage increase and more staff to avoid them having to work double shifts.
