An ETA terrorist who was sentenced in Spain to 2,232 years for 91 crimes, including 22 murders, but who was freed in 2011 after serving 24 years, has lost his fight against extradition to Spain in a British court. On Tuesday a judge ruled Antonio Troitiño must face trial in Madrid. In 2012 he fled to the UK fearing he’d be rearrested however his stay in Britain has been plagued with legal proceedings. Troitiño is expected to appeal this latest ruling.
