Former Marbella mayor Julián Muñoz’s ex-wife Maite Zaldívar, who was convicted along with Sr Muñoz and his former girlfriend Isabel Pantoja for money laundering, has been granted conditional early release from prison. She has completed two years and two months of her two-and-a-half-year prison sentence, and has been on a weekend-release programme since August.
