Two bathers “in serious risk of drowning” were helped from the sea in Nerja last Thursday. They were swimming off the rocky outcrop between El Chucho and La Torrecilla beaches when they got into difficulty. Two Civil Protection boats and another vessel were launched but the bathers were able to climb onto the rocks with aid of passers-by and were unharmed.
