Alhaurín de la Torre mayor Joaquín Villanova has urged authorities to take action over late-night drink drivers who crash their car and flee the scene, leaving their vehicle, then show up the next day at the police station when it is too late to test them for alcohol. He said there have been three such cases in Alhaurín alone so far this year, and that a sanction for such acts should be established.
