An elderly woman died on Sunday evening in the Granada town of Vegas del Genil in a suspected case of domestic violence. One of her daughters was later detained by the Guardia Civil. Mayor Leandro Martín said that the case’s details were not being released at the moment but added that the family is well-known locally.
