Concern has been raised over dog poisonings, some of them fatal, in Alozaina in recent weeks. While no official figures have been released, the Guardia Civil is understood to be investigating at least one case, and some residents have put the total number of incidents at between 15 and 20. The town hall says any cases it is made aware of are reported directly to the local police and Guardia Civil.
