Marbella town hall says it is to use part of the €47 million surplus from its 2015 budget to pay down of some €20 million in bank loans and other debts to private entities. It will also pay down some of its debt to the Social Security department, settle unpaid invoices and use some of the money for public works projects, though these haven’t been specified.
