A 60-year-old female cyclist was knocked unconscious on Málaga’s Paseo Marítimo de Poniente on Sunday when a lamp-post, blown over by strong winds, struck her on the head. The woman, believed to be a foreign national, was in the company of her husband who attempted to revive her until an ambulance arrived. She was later reported to be seriously injured in intensive care.
