The 22-year-old Málaga man alleged to have murdered his 20-year-old ex-girlfriend in Cartgena (CDSN last week) was ordered to be held in custody when he appeared in court last Thursday after spending three days in hospital recovering from injuries received as he tried to flee but was restrained by neighbours. He reportedly had travelled from El Palo to Cartagena to attempt a reconciliation.
