Two men died on Monday morning when their van was hit by a train at an ungated level crossing in Ciudad Real. The train, carrying a load of diesel fuel, struck the vehicle shortly before 8am outside Almargo station. The victims were identified as a 45-year-old local farmer and his 34-year-old employee.
